Peaceful and spacious, Clydfan (Translated as ‘Cosy’) allows you to connect with nature. We have a selection of bikes here for free use. The forestry trail is a few minutes along the road. Lose yourself in the local woods or just enjoy some bird watching, the red kites or buzzards regularly soar in  the sky. There is even a Heron, which visits the riverside and we have spotted a kingfisher, dippers, woodpeckers and jays too. There are also owls which greet you in the evenings.

The only requirements we have are to be respectful of the other guests, to not play any recorded music and keep quiet after 11 pm.   The bus stops right outside our home and is a short walk through the archway to the camping area. The bus serves Carmarthen and Cardigan.

The site’s hub is the log cabin, which is undergoing renovation ready for May. It will be the central place for socialising . It is available for games, relaxing, Internet access, or to take part in one of our courses or book any of our treatments with local people, e.g. massage, reiki, yoga and more.

In our small village there’s also a small shop for groceries and essentials, a local pub and Chinese restaurant, a church, a community centre and there are some lovely country walks and cycle paths. A bus service takes you to the oldest town in Wales Carmarthen or to Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan. The Gwili Steam Railway is accessible as are the numerous tourist attractions in West Wales.

Clydfan is beautifully surrounded by nature with heaps of green space for playing sports and running around. The river is perfect for bird-watching. Our level grassed area is great for socialising and playing lawn games.

The campsite is conveniently located for exploring the best of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire’s stunning beaches, with the nearest one only a 10-minute drive away. When the night falls, and you come back from your exploring adventure, you can relax in the spa and enjoy the starry night sky.
