Our campsite offers generous space for pitching tents we do not cater for caravans or RV’s. There is no access or parking for cars but we can accommodate motorcycle parking.

The site has a compost toilet (and a flushing one). We rely on solar power and the communal campfire as much as possible, as they are a renewable energy source. Each tent pitch has solar lamps. There’s mobile reception and FREE WiFi access. Ecological products are used in communal facilities.

Peaceful and spacious, Clydfan (Translated as ‘Cosy’) allows you to connect with nature. Lose yourself in the local woods or just enjoy some bird watching, the red kites or buzzards regularly soar in the sky. There is even a Heron, which visits the riverside and we have spotted a kingfisher, dippers, woodpeckers and jays too. There are also owls which greet you in the evenings.

The only requirements we have are to be respectful of the other guests, to not play any recorded music and keep quiet after 11 pm.   The bus stops right outside our home and is a short walk through the archway to the camping area. It serves Carmarthen and Cardigan.

There is an On-site shop and cafe selling recycled and upcycled items,  local produce, home made meals, snacks and drinks. We can also supply picnic packs.

The site’s hub is the log cabin and the central place for socialising around the fireplace. It is available for games, relaxing, Internet access, or to take part in one of our courses or book any of our treatments with local people, e.g massage, reiki, yoga and more. Or just sit and relax beside the wood-fired stove.

In our small village there’s also a small shop for groceries and essentials, a local pub and Chinese restaurant, a church, a community centre and there are some lovely country walks and cycle paths. A bus service takes you to the oldest town in Wales Carmarthen or to Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan. The Gwili Steam Railway is accessible as are the numerous tourist attractions in West Wales.

Clydfan is beautifully surrounded by nature with heaps of green space for playing sports and running around. Children will adore the tree swing while adults can relax on the riverside hammock. The river is perfect for relaxing beside, or bird-watching. Our level grassed area is great for socialising and playing lawn games complete with goal posts. Excellent for tennis, cricket or golf. Additionally, you can borrow outdoor games.

Apart from offering plenty of fun activities, the campsite is also conveniently located for exploring the best of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire’s stunning beaches, with the nearest one only a 10-minute drive away. When the night falls, and you come back from your exploring adventure, you can relax by the firelight and enjoy the starry night sky.
